Consultancy Services for SMART Nutrition Survey – Central Jebel Marra (Golo), Central Darfur

Purpose of the Assignment

The objective of this consultancy is to design, implement, and report on a SMART Nutrition Survey in Central Jebel Marra (Golo locality), generating reliable and actionable data on:

• Acute malnutrition prevalence (children 6–59 months)
• Mortality rates (CMR & U5MR)
• Child health indicators
• IYCF practices
• WASH indicators

Scope of Work

The selected consultant will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the SMART survey, including but not limited to:

• Development of survey protocol, methodology, and tools
• Enumerator training and supervision
• Data collection and quality assurance
• Data analysis using ENA for SMART
• Preparation of draft and final reports
• Presentation of findings to SCI, MoH, and Nutrition Cluster

The assignment will follow SMART standards and be completed within three (3) weeks.

Required Proposal Submission

Interested consultants are requested to submit the following documents:

1. Technical Proposal, including:

• Understanding of the assignment and proposed methodology
• Detailed implementation plan and timelines
• Team composition and roles
• CVs of the proposed technical team

2. Financial Proposal, including:

• Detailed budget in USD, clearly itemized

3. Sample Work, including:

• At least two (2) sample evaluation or assessment reports from similar or relevant assignment.

• Deadline for submission: 20 May 2026
• Submission method: All proposals must be submitted electronically by email to: SudanCO.procurement@savethechildren.org
• The subject of the email should be “RFQ 711777 (SMART Nutrition Survey) – ‘Bidder Name’, ‘Date’’.

Late submissions will not be considered.

• The full Terms of Reference (TOR) is attached and should be reviewed carefully before submission.
• Save the Children reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal and is not bound to select the lowest‑priced offer.
• Only shortlisted consultants will be contacted.
• The bidder response must be filled out and submitted.
