The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental organisation which provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide. NRC has been working in Sudan since February 2020 mainly on and/or planning for the COVID Response, Shelter & WASH, Cash Transfer, Education in Emergency, Food Security and Livelihoods, Information-Counselling and Legal Assistance and other integrated projects.
Presently, NRC is developing a list of suppliers providing the following materials/services/works seeking a Letter or Expression of Interest from competent firms for prequalification for supply of categories listed below for the year 2020 to 2022 subject to positive and satisfactory performance and cooperation potentially extendable to 2024.

Completed prequalification documents must be submitted enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the category reference and date of submission and deposited in the tender box at NRC Office or by email by 3rd September2020 at 15.30pm.
Norwegian Refugee Council reserves the Right to Accept or reject any tender application and is not bound to give reasons for this decision thereof.

PRE-QUALIFICATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Point of Contact
Suppliers are asked to provide a single point of contact, full name and position of a senior manager. This contact will be considered the sole spokesperson for the supplier during the Prequalification process.
2. Evaluation of Prequalification Responses
The objective of the PQQ (Pre-qualification questionnaire) evaluation is to assess the responses and select potential suppliers for the next stage of the procurement process. NRC wishes to ascertain:
(a.) Supplier Capability – the supplier must have appropriate expertise, legal documents and guaranteed capacity to meet the NRC specification.
(b.) Supplier Track Record - the supplier must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of providing services similar to those required by NRC.
(c.) Financial Standing - the supplier must be considered financially sound.
The specific criteria to be considered at the selection stage include:
Suppliers interested in being added to our data base of Pre-qualified Vendors, and participating in future restricted tenders and/or in signing framework contracts with NRC should submit their request by 3rd September at 15:30 pm at the address or email mentioned above.
A Vendor registration form will be sent to the interested suppliers and will have to be returned, once fully completed, within 5 working days to the same address as above
