1. The Republic of Sudan has received financing from the African Development Bank Group (AfDB)hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of Emergency Response support Program ERSP COVID-19 and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply of PIU Vehicles. The Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct payment method.
2. The Federal Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for supply of PIU Vehicles.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National), (OCBN) method as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Emergency Response Support Program ERSP- COVID-19, the procurement specialist EL FATIH MOHAMED ALI, Email ali_elfatih@yahoo.co.uk  and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 am to 04:00 pm Sudan time at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of SDG 20,000 (twenty thousand Sudanese Pound). The method of payment will be direct deposit to the following account number 2673646-1SDG Bank of Khartoum, HQ Branch. The document will be sent by airmail, courier services for overseas delivery and courier for local delivery.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 01:00 pm (Sudan Time) on Monday 11 October 2021. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 02:00 pm on the same day of Bids closing.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of USD 10,000 or its equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
