REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; German Biosecurity Programme programme funded by the The Federal Foreign Office (AA), would like to issue a consultancy contract for Drafting of a policy paper based on lab assessments previously conducted by the National Laboratory Network on Biosafety and Biosecurity (NLNBB) in Sudan and on the facilitation of workshops between NLNBB members and other public health decision makers to discuss the strategic implications of the policy paper in the framework of Sudan’s endorsed National Biosafety and Biosecurity Strategy (NBBS).

This service contract will involve the following deliverables:

• Part I. Drafting Policy Paper: task involves but not limited to desk research, document study, finalization and presentation of the policy paper.
• Part II. Strategic workshops for promoting NBBS: task involves but not limited to workshop preparation and moderation.

Accordingly, GIZ invites interested Consultants to provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications, relevant experience and submit following supporting documents:

• a. An official letter expressing interest clearly indicating your interest to participate in this tender.
• b. Comprehensive CV with the following information; Education, general professional experience, specialized professional experience, experience in international cooperation’s and language skills (Arabic and English).
• c. List of Experience in provision of similar service with contact details of awarding firm/company, contract value, etc. Third party evidence such as award letters, contracts is highly encouraged.

For consideration, all interested bidders should submit the aforementioned documents in English Language only in hardcopies in a sealed envelope to GIZ Sudan Office reception at No. 3, Amarat Street, House 28, Block 10a Khartoum, Sudan, labelled stated below:

Your complete documents should not be more than 10 pages. Only complete documents received at the physical address indicated not later than Thursday 29th September 2021 will be accepted and considered.
Do not send price offers, kindly note that complete tender documents would be sent to firms that express their interest. - Non-conformity with all conditions mentioned could lead to the exclusion from the bid.
