Sudan Zero Waste Organization (SZWO) is a Sudanese, youth-led NGO committed to advancing sustainable
development and resilience in humanitarian and recovery contexts. Since its establishment in 2020, SZWO has
been delivering impactful interventions across multiple sectors, including Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH),
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) & Protection, Food Security & Livelihoods (FSL), Economic Empowerment &
Vocational Trainings, Health & Medical Waste Management, Cash Assistance, Shelter-related services, and Climate
Resilience & Mitigation.
Our work combines emergency response with long-term solutions, focusing on quality delivery, compliance, and
innovation. We partner with communities, donors, and stakeholders to implement projects that promote dignity,
environmental sustainability, and social inclusion. SZWO also champions circular economy, green jobs opportunities
creation initiatives, and climate-smart practices in Sudan to mitigate environmental risks and strengthen resilience.
As part of our 2026 operational plan, SZWO seeks to engage qualified vendors and service providers to support our
programs and projects across these sectors in Khartoum state. This call represents an opportunity to collaborate in
delivering high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions that align with our organizational values and humanitarian
standards.
