REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Inland Logistics Transportation Service

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH though her Country Office in Khartoum is currently seeking services of logistics transport company that will assist in movement of cargoes via land or air transport to several locations within Sudan. The current locations for our projects are in Khartoum, Damazin, Nyala, Darfur, El Fasher, El Genein, Kasala and Gedarif.

The scope of work includes but not limited to:

Manage the entire distribution chain and logistical function from the specified point of loading to the point of destination. This will include all necessary equipment, handling services, warehouse facilities, qualified personnel, expertise and other means necessary to perform the transport, inventory management, freight forwarding and related services in accordance with best commercial practice.

Manage the land transport of goods from point of loading to point of destination as specified in the forwarding information.

To this end GIZ requests all companies who can provide this service to submit the following documents for consideration:

a) An official letter expressing interest clearly indicating your interest to participate in this tender.

b) Comprehensive company profile with the following information; Address: City, Street, Place, Legal form, Registration body, copy of the legal registration, email address, telephone and contact person name.

c) Copy of company registration certificate and VAT Registration Certificate.

d) Provide evidence of annual company total combined minimum turnover of 159,525,135.00 SDG (equivalent of 427,875.00USD or 400,000Euros for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 and 2020). Acceptable evidence are bank statements or stamped and sealed audited financial statement.

e) Third party evidence of experience in provision of similar services of logistics such award letters or commercial order.

For consideration, all interested bidders should submit the aforementioned documents in English Language only in hardcopies in a sealed envelope to GIZ Sudan Office reception at No. 3, Amarat Street, House 28, Block 10a Khartoum, Sudan, labelled stated below:

Your complete documents should not be more than 20 pages. Only complete documents received at the physical address indicated not later than Thursday 15 th April 2021 will be accepted and considered.
