Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Cook to prepare daily meals in a hygienic, timely, and professional manner. The Cook will be responsible for food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily meals according to the approved menu
- Ensure food quality, proper portioning, and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and cooking utensils
- Store food items safely and correctly
- Report any kitchen-related needs or issues
- Follow organizational health and safety guidelines
Requirements
Previous experience as a cook (5-7 years of proven experience as a professional cook or in a similar role. work experience in related fields, preferably in INGOs or UN agencies.
Language: Good communication in Arabic and English).
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Good personal hygiene and time management skills
Flexibility and willingness to support as needed
