Generator shelter

The generator shelter will be constructed using durable iron materials to protect the generator from weather conditions and unauthorized access. The structure will include a strong iron frame, corrugated iron sheet walls and roof, lockable access door, and adequate ventilation openings to ensure proper airflow and cooling during operation. The shelter will be painted with anti-rust coating for long-term durability and weather resistance

• Structure: Welded iron frame with corrosion-resistant coating.
• Walls: Stainless steel wire mech fixed on the frame with bolts and washers.
• Roof: Sloped corrugated iron roof with rainwater drainage provision.
• Floor: Concrete base with vibration-damping pads for generator placement.
• Door: Lockable iron door for security access.
• Ventilation: Louvered openings or mesh vents on both sides for airflow.
• Exhaust: Dedicated outlet for generator exhaust pipe with heat protection.
• Paint: Anti-rust primer and weather-resistant paint for all metal surfaces.

Dimensions: Sized to fit generator 150KVA set with minimum 1 meter clearance on all sides for maintenance

ATS

Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) – Specifications for 150 kVA Generator

1. Capacity:

• Rated for 150 kVA generator (approximately 144 A at 400V, 3-phase, 50Hz).
• Must be sized at least 125% of generator full load current for safety and durability.

2. Type:

• Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), 4-pole, 3-phase + Neutral.
• Electrically and mechanically interlocked to prevent simultaneous source connection.

3. Voltage & Frequency:

• Rated Voltage: 400/230V AC, 50Hz.
• Control Voltage: 220–240V AC (or as per generator control system).

Storage Tank with Raising pump

Fuel Storage Tank System – 3,000 Liters Capacity

1. Capacity:

• Nominal capacity: 3,000 liters (diesel storage)
• Effective usable capacity: Minimum 95% of total volume

2. Tank Construction:

• Material: Mild steel (minimum 3 mm thickness) or stainless steel welded and pressure tested.
• Type: Above-ground horizontal cylindrical tank with support stand.
• Fittings: Inlet, outlet, drain, vent, and fuel level gauge.
• Finish: Exterior coated with anti-rust primer and weather-resistant paint.
• Inspection manhole with bolted cover.
• Bund wall or containment tray (minimum 110% tank capacity) for environmental protection.

3. Fueling System Components:

• Fuel Transfer Pump:
  • Type: Electric pump, self-priming.
  • Capacity: 40–60 liters per minute (minimum).
  • Power supply: 220–240V AC (single phase) or 12/24V DC if connected to generator system.
  • With built-in strainer and non-return valve.
• Fuel Hose and Nozzle:
  • Hose: Heavy-duty rubber or composite fuel hose, length 5–10 meters.
  • Nozzle: Automatic shut-off fuel nozzle with swivel connection.
• Fuel Filter:
  • Inline fuel filter/water separator to ensure clean fuel supply to generator.
• Fuel Meter
  • Digital or mechanical flow meter showing total and batch volume dispensed.

4. Accessories:

• Fuel level indicator (gauge or sight glass).
• Emergency shut-off valve and venting system.
• Lockable fill point to prevent unauthorized access.
• Earthing connection for safety.
