Mercy Corps is seeking a qualified contractor to construct 12 Women & Girl Safe Spaces (WGSS) in Gedaref State. The WGSS will provide safe and supportive environments for women & girls, utilizing locally available materials in the traditional "Rakuba" design. Each WGSS will consist of a main space/shelter, latrines, and perimeter fencing to ensure security and privacy. The construction works are expected to be completed within a two-month period. The project is located at [Al Mafaza, Al Rahad, Basunda, Al Fashaga and Al Fao].

Required Qualifications and Experience
The contractor should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in constructing community shelters and latrines using local materials.
• Experience working in humanitarian or development projects, particularly in rural or displacement settings.
• Adequate technical capacity, including skilled labor and equipment, to complete the project within the given timeframe.
• Strong project management skills to ensure quality and timely delivery.
