Mercy Corps is seeking a qualified translator to translate the life skills curriculum from English to Arabic. The curriculum will be used by the mentors in the safe space centers during the safe space sessions.This project aims to ensure that the translated curriculum is not only linguistically accurate but also culturally sensitive and aligned with the social norms and values of Sudanese culture.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Arabic, with proven experience in translation, particularly in educational or developmental contexts.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivities within Sudanese society.
• Previous experience working with youth and understanding of life skills education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and incorporate their feedback effectively.
