HOPE is a National NGO working with local communities to promote peace, stability, resilience, sustainable development through activities of Saving Life, Sustainable and Durable Solutions of humanitarian aid, recovery and development, by focusing on main sectors of Peacebuilding & Governance, FSL, WASH, Health & Nutrition, Education, and Protection.
HOPE invites bids to construct 2 Shelters in Refugee Camps in White Nile State -Sudan. This project aims to provide safe and durable shelter for affected communities.
All interested suppliers/vendors/contractors are invited to collect tender documents from HOPE Offices KOSTI from 23 Oct 2024 to 3 Nov 2023.
Interested vendors/suppliers/ contractors MUST provide the following information indicating that they are qualified for the work:
- The company’s valid registration
- Taxation chamber certification and other government-related registration
- History/profile of the company
- Description of similar assignments achieved.
- Evidence of experience in similar works
- Financial ability \current bank statement (this will be kept as a confidential document)

Provide and construct shelter size (10mx5m) as per drawings and following specifications; • Twelve column of 2.5" steel angle 5mm thickness (3 m height) fixed on plain concrete 50x50x70cm •Three trusses made of 2" steel angle 3mm thickness fixed on the top of columns • One and half red brick wall on cement mortar 1:6 mix, 50cm height base wall (Gassa) 20m under ground level and 30m above ground level. • One red brick wall on cement mortar 1:6 mix, 80cm height wall above foundation wall including external and internal plaster. • Filling with selective material inside the 30 cm above ground level. • Plain concrete mix (1:3:6) 10 cm thick for floors. • Steel purlins, steel angle 2” (3mm thickness) for roof • Bamboo purline in roof each 25cm c/c both ways • Grass (BOOS) over for roof • Bamboo Partition for sides 1.3 meter height • Fabricate and install in place two doors 1200x210cm, made of box metal frame size 4x8cm and the leaf from steel pipe (3x6) with expanded steel metal complete with paint. • installation of shaded net to cover bamboo partition internally |
