The Government of Sudanhas received financing from the Global Environment Facility being administered through the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Livelihood’s Adaptation to Climate Change in the Horn of Africa project – Phase II (RLACC II)], and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this financing to payments under the contract for Individual Consultant services to carry out Study of Gender Mainstreaming and Empower Gender Role in Climate Change Resilience.
The main objective of assignment is to support project in gender mainstreaming and empower gender roles in climate change resilience through conducting field visits, meetings, interviews, consultations, assessments etc. in the targeted states. The study will cover the project targeted communities/villages at states of Gadarif (Gadambalia), Kassala (Aroma) and White Nile (Eddweim locality-Baja Area).
The expected duration of the assignment is 7 weeks and it is expected to commence in February 2020.
Rural Livelihood’s Adaptation to Climate Change in the Horn of Africa project (RLACC II) at the Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resource (HCENR) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to perform the services (documents, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc.).
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operation, October 2015 edition, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
