Our mission: to alleviate suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, productive and just communities.
Brief about the Program
The Sudan - Enhancing Community Resilience (SOMOUD) Project is funded by the Sudan Transition and Recovery Support (STARS) multi-donor trust fund, managed by the World Bank (WB). The Project’s Development Objective (PDO) is to improve access to basic services and food security in select communities in Sudan.
Mercy Corps is looking for a consulting firm/Individual to conduct a Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) Analysis. The consultancy aims to conduct a comprehensive Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Analysis to identify, understand, and describe gender differences and social exclusion factors that have an impact on the program participants’ access to farmlands, inputs, trainings and other services contributing to individual and household resilience. The analysis is intended to further understand how gender and social relations limit or enable the participants to access strategic economic and social opportunities.
