Brief about the Program

The Sudan - Enhancing Community Resilience (SOMOUD) Project is funded by the Sudan Transition and Recovery Support (STARS) multi-donor trust fund, managed by the World Bank (WB). The Project’s Development Objective (PDO) is to improve access to basic services and food security in select communities in Sudan.

Mercy Corps is looking for a consulting firm/Individual  to conduct a Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) Analysis. The consultancy aims to conduct a comprehensive Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Analysis to identify, understand, and describe gender differences and social exclusion factors that have an impact on the program participants’ access to farmlands, inputs, trainings and other services contributing to individual and household resilience.  The analysis is intended to further understand how gender and social relations limit or enable the participants to access strategic economic and social opportunities.

Qualified and interested parties are asked to submit the documents below to;

  1. Letter of interest in submission of the proposal signed and stamped in your  company/Individual letterhead.
  2. A detailed technical proposal detailing the applicant’s understanding of the assignment, proposed approach/methodologies, timelines, and levels of effort. 
  3. Financial proposal breaking down all costs related to the assignment. Please note that the consultant will be responsible for ALL costs related to the assignment, and as such, should include these costs in the financial proposal. 
  4. Please submit your “Business Registration, Tax Identification Number and Banking details” along with your quotation.
  5. Please clearly mention delivery time period (no. of days) on your technical bid/quote. 
  6. Please clearly mention payment terms.
  7. Provider your certificate of registration if registered as a company.
  8. Provide if any your latest Registration Certificate and or Operating License.
  9. Share the CVs of the Key staffs who will be conducting this assessment.
  10. Share ID/Passport for the Director(s)/ owner(s).
