REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR A UN AGENCY INSUDAN/SOUTH SUDAN- 2023-2024.

Background:

Africa Research and Data Ltd is a leading Africa-based, African-led, International research institution headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. Our researchers are contributing to the body of evidence about the critical issues touching on social research - impeding Africa’s development in order to provide strong direction and recommendations to policy- and decision-makers at all levels. Our priority research is on conducting Baseline/Midline/End line surveys and reviews of Livelihood, Food and income security, WASH/Health and Nutrition, Education and life skills, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Gender Analysis, Climate Change and Energy, Inclusive Markets and Humanitarian, Peace and Sustainable Development, Resilience and Durable Solutions programs.

What are we looking for?

Africa Research and Data Ltd has collaborated with a UN Agency based in Sudan/South Sudan and now inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for competent consultancy companies/agencies based in Sudan/South Sudan to support us with conducting external research, evaluations, and assessments from Jan 2023 to Jan 2025.

Guidelines:

• Application is open to all interested and eligible companies/agencies with a presence and registration in Sudan/South Sudan
• Only successful and shortlisted companies/agencies will be contacted for further evaluation

Requirements for the consultancy:

1. Certificate of registration of business (Within Sudan/South Sudan)
2. Revenue Authority Tax Registration Certificate (Indicating TIN)
3. Tax Clearance Certificate (Must be Valid for the period ending 31st December 2023)
4. Certificate of registration with Sudan/South Sudanese Chamber of Commerce
5. Valid Operation and/or Trading License (whichever is applicable)
6. Articles and Memorandum of Association (it is mandatory that you submit the entire document)
7. Audited Accounts for at least the last three years indicating the annual turnover (in case of a Joint Venture or Partnership, Audited Accounts of one of two principle partners will suffice)
8. Company/Business Profile
9. 12 Months Certified Bank Statement for the period 13 Jan 2022 to 301st Dec 2022
10. Reference and recommendations from at least 3 present and 3 past clients with whom your firm has done business/consulted.
11. Proof of substantial contracts/orders completed in the last 12 months.
