We build a meaningful life for and with the displaced. When we find people displaced from their homes, countries, or lives, our instinct may be to focus only on their basic needs. And that is essential. But it’s also not a life. A life is filled with joy, dignity, connection, and purpose. And that’s what we aim to build.
Now, we're taking the next big step on a journey to unleash and put into action that same abundant belief. This year, American Refugee Committee will become Alight. We’re the same organization with the same people doing the same critical work – providing health care and clean water, shelter, protection, and economic opportunity to more than 3.5 million people in 17 countries each year. But in solidarity with the people we serve who are too often defined by a single dark moment in their lives, we’re dropping the label ‘refugee.’
Alight (Formerly known as American Refugee Committee) is an international humanitarian agency providing health care, clean water, shelter, protection, and economic opportunity to more than 3.5 million people in 17 countries annually. Alight sees and helps every person make meaningful change in the world – from displaced and marginalized communities in Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
With funding from UNDP, Alight is implementing a DCPSF 2 years project in East Darfur state called " Together to Build Peaceful Coexistence" in three administrative units, Alryadh, Abu sineadira Hebeail, and Alfirdous, of Al Ferdous locality.
Part of this operation implies the requirements of consultancy services. ALIGHT Sudan seeks proposals from a consultant to better understand DCPSF performance against outputs and outcomes as well as the DCPSF mission & objectives set out in the strategy.
All further details, specifications & deliverables are available in the tender Terms of Reference. Kindly invite all eligible & qualified consultancy providers to participate & respond to the tender by submission of technical proposals on how to conduct the evaluation.
