EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; “Structural Strengthening of Employment Promotion and Vocational Training and Apprenticeship‘’ Project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), would like to issue a consultancy contract for providing a Conflict Sensitivity Analysis of the Private Sector.

This service contract will involve the following deliverables but not limited to:

a) An introduction to engaging in contexts of conflict, fragility and violence (general) and its historical context related to the private sector;

b) Promoting Employment in fragile contexts;

c) Selection of sector/industry for potential development engagements;

d) Conduct an in-depth analysis of the proposed sectors, including all enabling factors (such as education, connected value chains, (vocational) training and education, ICT, renewable energy, finance, business services, entrepreneurship etc.) and provide

e) recommendations

Accordingly, GIZ invites interested service providers to provide GIZ Sudan with the following:

1. An official letter expressing interest clearly indicating your interest to participate in this tender.
2. Comprehensive company with the following information; Address: City, Street, Place, Legal form, Registration body, copy of the legal registration, Date of creation, Date of commencement of activities, Ownership details, Web address and social media accounts if it exists, Registration in VAT Tax Chamber, Business description, Number of employees, Services/ products currently on offer.
3. Financial Information bank reference letter in favour of GIZ OR recent 12 months bank statements from 2020 and 2021.
4. Evidence of experience in conducting similar analyses related to the private sector.

For consideration, all interested bidders should submit the aforementioned documents in English Language only in hardcopies in a sealed envelope to GIZ Sudan Office reception at No. 3, Amarat Street, House 28, Block 10a Khartoum, Sudan, labelled stated below:

Your complete documents should not be more than 20 pages. Only complete documents received at the physical address indicated not later than Sunday 29th May 2022 will be accepted and considered.
